Has it really been a month since my last post?
My adoring fans must be worried?
Why so long?
A really bad hangover?...uh...no
Was I avoiding the holiday writing schlock where if you write about wine you either have to write about sparkling wine or create a Top 100 list?...not really (Number 1 - No more Top 100 Lists)
Did I have a slothful attitude?...yeah pretty much.
So to start the new year off I am going to do three things;
Train my palate more like this 'How to train you palate'
Learn how to pronounce wine terms better
and try to remember vintages

Light mouthfeel, med acid, sweet but not too much with citrus and white pepper coming through on the palate.
Went well with Chicken Vindaloo.
Defiantly will buy again.
Music match for this year...Theme to James Bond
What started as a unique blend of Malbec and Tempranillo turned into the ADD wine clerk at The Wine Shop telling me he doesn't drink wine with Women on the label...Well I hate to admit that he is true.....but only in this case. The Wine wasn't well balanced and was quite acidic. I had the bottle open for a few days and it got better the second and third day so it makes me think it is not all that bad. I will try again but I will make sure I have it with food...and probably a different vintage..... or different wine maker.
