This must be Chapoutier's bastard child because I couldn't find any info on his website.
The bottle say it is a Syrah Grenache blend but I don't know what percentages.  I am guessing there is more grenache than syrah.  It is $12 and is from the Vin de Pays d'Oc area which is pretty much any where from the south of France.  It's a very average wine that is light and soft on the palate.  It's not offensive and very easy to drink, but it leaves you wanting something more. I have had better wine at $12 but not a lot.  That doesn't mean this wine is good, I probably won't buy this again.  The Chapoutier - Belleruche is way better and only a couple of loonies more...but then again try it for yourself it's only $12.

Music Match  - John Wesley Hardings - Bastard Son

Disappointing Rhone wine. Rhone aromas are present but it is very thin on the palate.  It was around $11 but I will not buy again...not even for the Third Bottle

Not a typical Sangiovese, first it is not from Chianti it is an IGT from Puglia and second it is not as acidic as a Chianti.  The two probably have something to do with each other.  Not as complex as a Chinati but it is easy to drink.  It went well with the pizza I had.
For a price around $12 at Superstore I would buy again and again and again.
